Memory for the Future
|
Colloquium (in french)
|

ESCWA
|
Beirut, March 30th-31st, 2001
|
|
This international colloquium brought
together artists and intellectuals of all origins around the
following discussion: the way to have a collective reflection
after a conflict that lasted fifteen years and which has brought
different communities against each other.
How to talk about the war and the wounds it provoked in order
to overcome them, not to revive them? In what way should this
discussion be conducted so that the rehabilitation of memory
leads to reconciliation? |
