Exodus 2003
This kid is leaving
This kid is leaving,
Throwing his stuff,
Letting go of his cuff,
Oh! Enough is enough.
He picked up his pieces,
And he’s moving away,
Doing things his own way,
And man! He’s going places.
He only packed his brains,
Nothing else worth keeping,
It comes handy for his seeking,
And it’s all what remains.
He left his suitcase,
With everything inside it,
Starting again bit by bit,
For the rest of his days.
Playing a new game,
By his own rules,
Suffer all the fools,
There will be no shame.
He’s on his own now,
And catch him if you can,
He walked and then ran,
Then he flew, oh wow!
I told you, this kid is leaving.
Throwing his stuff,
Letting go of his cuff,
Oh! Enough is enough.
He picked up his pieces,
And he’s moving away,
Doing things his own way,
And man! He’s going places.
He only packed his brains,
Nothing else worth keeping,
It comes handy for his seeking,
And it’s all what remains.
He left his suitcase,
With everything inside it,
Starting again bit by bit,
For the rest of his days.
Playing a new game,
By his own rules,
Suffer all the fools,
There will be no shame.
He’s on his own now,
And catch him if you can,
He walked and then ran,
Then he flew, oh wow!
I told you, this kid is leaving.
