Wann geht der nächste Schwan?

“Wann geht der nächste Schwan?” (When time is the next sawn?) asked a
bemused Leo Slezak to his audience during an interpretation of Wagner’s Lo-
hengrin when one of the technical people sent out the Swan too early for the
tenor to hop on it. Do swans fly to the middle east? Maybe they’re pinioned
swans with their primary feathers clipped, which means they can’t fly at all,
and all they do is lurk around parks to the amusement of children and gener-
ating memories for lovers sitting at benches with engraved initials with heart
shaped knife carvings in between them. The distance the swans fly depends
on how cold the winter is, and they fly back to their brooding grounds in the
arctic. Swans moult during July and August during which time they cannot
fly. I hear they fly south to Florida during winter, but that’s an undecided
answer from Yahoo! So I can’t really tell.
But swans also transmit avian flu, a reported four cases of people died after
being infected by swans. So better be warned. The victims in question come
from a village in Azerbaijan and it is believed they caught the H5N1 strain
after plucking dead swans to sell their feathers for pillows. Those same pil-
lows those lovers who were previously at the public park benches would dive
into as their lust is still in its infancy.

“This pair of large and lofty feather pillows are covered in soft, 100-percent
cotton fabric, Each pillow is filled with naturally resilient and supportive
feathers, medium-firm fill for comfortable support. Feather-filled products
are packed tightly during shipping. Upon receipt, remove them from their
packaging, fluff gently, and allow several hours to recover their full loft. In
addition, being sealed in plastic packaging sometimes causes the scent of
these natural products to concentrate to a disagreeable level. A few hours of
airing usually removes any odor. At our low online price, you can get new
pillows for every bed in the house!”
