Article-Interview

"Que suis-je, sans la guerre et sans lui ?"

"In 1985, the Lebanese war's already been going on for ten years. Marie Seurat, young woman from Aleppo's Syrian bourgeoisie, sees this war as an unreal "show", until she is personnally "hit" when her husband, Michel Seurat, is kidnapped in Beirut airport, on his way back from France ... ten years later, she tells about her painful story wondering if during this terrible interlude, the war has not, in a way, given a meaning to her life."
French periodical 'Confluences Méditerranée' N°17 - 1996
