July 15 Shelling targeted the area between al-Majidiya, al-Mari, and Halta starting several fires. (www.assafir.com)
July 20 Israeli shelling from 'Ayn al-Tineh, Z'urah, al-'Alam, Ramta, and al-Sammaqah in Lebanon targeted al-Majidiyah, al-'Abbasiyah, 'Ayn 'Arab, al-Mari, all the way to Halta, Kfarshuba, Rashayya al-Fukhkhar, Kfarhamam, Shib'a, al-Fardis, and Wadi Khansa. In twelve hours, 300 bombs were counted including 75 phosphor bombs, 50 cluster bombs, and 30 super bombs causing serious damage to ninety houses. The heather in the outskirts of Halta, Kfarhamam, an Rashayya al-Fukhkhar was set on fire. The valleys of al-Mari, Sardah, 'Ayn 'Arab, and al-Wazzani turned into scorched ground. (www.assafir.com)
